ASK: The client needed to transition their chapter based in-person client education sessions to provide the same educational / learning experiences online for their slightly less technical audience. An secured learning platform ecosystem needed to be created that allowed for multiple audience streams, a diverse population of facilitators, and a mixture of free / paid courses, webinars, and other instructional learning experiences that could grow with the organization over time.
SOLUTION: The initial stages of this project included the implementation of a self-hosted LMS within a localized managed hosting environment, in conjunction with the design / development of several of their existing offline programs into comprehensive and engaging courses. As the program offerings increased over time, various platform integrations and upgrades where performed to accommodate the growing departmental needs. This included expanded facilitator partnerships, third-party course offerings, and a siloed environment to service staff onboarding and ongoing skill training. Each course curriculum was designed with identified learning objectives, and learner engagement in mind. We worked with the client to develop not only public facing educational courses, but also technical multi-week learning programs based on established healthcare methodologies.
HIGHLIGHTS: This multi-year project included various platform upgrades, and third party service integrations that helped the organization continue to grow their offerings and expand their reach with educational partners. Our earlier involvement with course / program development included course curriculum design along with learning asset development that utilized identified learning objectives, and kept learner engagement as a top priority. These early programs led to several industry awards for both the client and Ailm Consulting.
